Upon scheduling, you will receive a link to your provider\u2019s \u201cVirtual Waiting\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>* If you are a NEW PATIENT, you must complete your <a href=\"https:\/\/swskin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SWDV-NP-Paperwork-200427.pdf\">New Patient Forms<\/a> prior to your appointment. Please email the completed forms to <a href=\"mailto:info@swskin.com\">info@swskin.com<\/a> with a copy of the front and back of your insurance card and photo ID.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Financial Counseling.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On the morning of your appointment, a member of our front office team will call you to inform you of your insurance benefits and collect any applicable copays or out-of-pocket expenses. <\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Prepare for your Appointment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Please determine where you will be for your Teledermatology appointment. We recommend being in a room that has a natural light source. We also suggest having a flashlight handy.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Choose a Device- No app Required!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span><span class=\"s2\">Android Phones and Tablets: Use Chrome internet browser AND close all other apps. You must \u201cAllow\u201d use of microphone and camera.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s3\"><\/span><span class=\"s2\">iPhones and iPads: Safari internet browser NOT in \u201cprivate mode\u201d and close all other apps on your phone during use. OR apple store \u201cdoxy.me\u201d app. You must \u201cAllow\u201d use of microphone and camera. <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s3\"><\/span><span class=\"s2\">Laptops or Desktops:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Chrome, Firefox or Safari internet browser, enabled microphone and camera.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Enter the Waiting Room.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Enter you provider\u2019s virtual waiting room 5-10 minutes prior to your visit time with the provider since they may be with another patient. For more help, view our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/swskin.com\/index.php\/telehealth-technical-support\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Technical Support Page<\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>TELEHEALTH Q&amp;A<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q:\u00a0 What type of appointments can be performed using Telehealth?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Ideal issues to be addressed using Telehealth include cases of acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin discoloration, rashes, melasma, spot checks, and itchy skin.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Cosmetic consultations can also be done via Telehealth.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Urgent medical and surgical appointments must still be scheduled for an in-person appointment.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>If you have an emergency, call 911.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Q:\u00a0 What\u2019s the cost of a Telehealth appointment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Teledermatology visits are covered by Medicare and most commercial insurance carriers.
